IXL Learning, a leader in edtech, is seeking a Tutor Training Specialist to join the Rosetta Stone Language Tutor Team. You will mentor tutors, deliver onboarding, and run 1:1 and small-group sessions while staying connected to the learner experience.

This remote, full-time role is for candidates in the United States and may require evening or weekend hours. You’ll apply tutoring pedagogy to develop lessons and materials, contributing to global language learning success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5+ years of language instruction experience.
• Fluency in multiple languages preferred.
• Experience mentoring educators.

Responsabilités

IXL Learning, developer of personalized learning products used by millions of people globally, is seeking a Tutor Training Specialist to join our Rosetta Stone Language Tutor Team. Rosetta Stone is the global leader of online language learning solutions. Rosetta Stone Enterprise provides companies and organizations with a world-class platform to address language-learning gaps by tracking and optimizing language training.

Join our passionate, energetic, and international tutoring team. As a Tutor Training Specialist, you will use your expertise in language learning to help our tutors deliver engaging, effective, and high‑quality learning experiences to Rosetta Stone learners around the world. In addition to developing and delivering tutor training, you will also regularly provide tutoring sessions, allowing you to stay connected to the learner experience and apply your expertise directly.

You are passionate about language education and have a strong background in training and development. You are a team player and have a desire to be part of a collaborative, goal‑oriented team.

This is a remote full‑time position for candidates living in the United States that may require some evening and weekend hours when necessary. #LI-REMOTE

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

• Mentor tutors and provide thoughtful, constructive feedback to help them strengthen their teaching and deliver polished, engaging tutoring sessions
• Facilitate onboarding with new tutors
• Deliver effective 1:1 and small‑group tutoring sessions for learners across a variety of proficiency levels and adapt your approach to meet different learner needs
• Assist in the distribution, implementation, and completion tracking of tutor trainings
• Identify opportunities to improve the tutoring experience and bring innovative ideas and solutions to team leadership
• Contribute to projects and initiatives across the Language Tutoring team, bringing a strong understanding of tutoring pedagogy and the learner experience
• Assist in development of new tutoring lessons and materials

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Bachelor's degree
• 5+ years of experience in language instruction
• Fluent or proficient in multiple languages strongly preferred
• Experience mentoring, coaching, or training educators
• Ability to anticipate needs and act independently to deliver results, showing resourcefulness in tackling tasks and projects
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Self‑starter and quick learner with a passion for teaching and learning languages
• Experience with Google Suite, including Sheets, Gmail, Docs
