Job summary

IXL Learning is seeking a Tutor Training Specialist to join the Rosetta Stone Language Tutor Team. This remote, full-time role focuses on mentoring tutors, delivering training, and conducting 1:1 and small-group tutoring with diverse learners worldwide.

You will onboard new tutors, develop lessons, and track training completion while collaborating with leadership to improve the tutoring experience. Evening/weekend hours may be required in the United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 5+ years of experience in language instruction.
• Fluent or proficient in multiple languages preferred.
• Experience mentoring, coaching, or training educators.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-starter with ability to deliver results independently.
• Experience with Google Suite.

Responsibilities

• Mentor tutors and provide constructive feedback to improve teaching and tutoring sessions.
• Facilitate onboarding with new tutors.
• Deliver effective 1:1 and small-group tutoring sessions for diverse proficiency levels.
• Assist in the distribution, implementation, and tracking of tutor trainings.
• Identify opportunities to improve the tutoring experience and bring innovative ideas to leadership.
• Contribute to development of tutoring lessons and materials.
