Job summary

TrulyHired is seeking a Tutor - Special Education at Furnace Brook Middle School in Marshfield, MA for the 2026-2027 school year. The position is a 35-hour per week assignment within the Multi-Age Learning Center / TLC and starts as soon as possible.

The Tutor will work under the Special Education Department Head, building principal, and Assistant Superintendent Student Services to support students with social/emotional and behavior challenges, maintaining confidentiality and integrity.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in education preferred.
• MA DESE License preferred.
• Strong desire to work with special needs children.
• Ability and experience working with students who have social/emotional and behavior challenges.
• Ability to work effectively with teachers and students.
• High personal integrity, reliability, punctuality, and ability to maintain confidentiality required.

Responsibilities

• Tutor students in a multi-age learning center setting.
• Collaborate with the Special Education Department Head, Building Principal, and Assistant Superintendent Student Services.
