We are seeking a dedicated Special Education Long-Term Substitute Teacher to provide consistent and effective instruction in the absence of the regular classroom Teacher. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering lesson plans, managing classroom dynamics, and ensuring a positive learning environment that aligns with the School's educational objectives.

Implement and adapt lesson plans to meet the diverse needs of students.
Maintain classroom discipline and foster a respectful, inclusive atmosphere.
Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback as necessary.
Collaborate with other educators and staff to support student learning and well-being.
Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues regarding educational matters.
Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
Valid Massachusetts teaching license in the appropriate subject area.
Prior teaching experience is preferred.
Strong classroom management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Background check and fingerprinting as required by Massachusetts regulations.
Completion of any required training or certifications upon hire, including first aid, CPR, and behavior management training.
