Job summary

University of North Dakota is seeking a part-time, non-benefited tutor to support medical school students. The position offers 5-12 hours per week with flexible scheduling, 100% remote work availability, and optional on-campus hybrid requirements.

The tutor will provide academic support in relevant medical subjects, maintain tutoring records, and collaborate with staff while upholding confidentiality and professional standards.

Salary/Position Classification

• $20.00 hourly, Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime)


• 5-12 hours per week


• 100% Remote Work Availability: Yes


• Hybrid Work Availability (requires some time on campus): Yes

Purpose of Position

This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position. Will provide academic tutoring to medical school students.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide tutoring for students in the medical doctor program


• Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions and hours worked

Minimum Requirements

• Demonstrated knowledge in one or more of the following subject areas: Human Anatomy, Physiology, Pharmacology, Microbiology & Immunology, Biochemistry, Neuroscience, Histology and Medical Terminology

• Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
