Job summary

Illinois State University is seeking a content tutor for HIS 135/136 to support students in the Julia N. Visor Academic Center. You will provide weekly small-group tutoring for lower-level courses and help students succeed academically.

Applicants must maintain at least a 2.80 GPA, achieve an A or high B in the relevant course, and communicate clearly. Other duties may be assigned by graduate assistants and the Coordinator of Academic Support Services.

Qualifications

• GPA of at least 2.80.
• A or high B in the course(s) tutored.
• Must be friendly, helpful, and able to communicate effectively.
• Other tasks may be assigned by graduate assistant supervisors and the Coordinator of Academic Support Services.

Responsibilities

• Provide weekly small-group tutoring for lower-level courses.
