Job summary

Vernon Public Schools is seeking Academic Tutors on an as-needed basis to support students across Pre-K to Grade 12. The role offers flexible, part-time hours with virtual or in-person tutoring options and does not include benefits.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree and teaching certification or direct classroom experience. Compensation is $33.54 per hour, and applications are accepted on a rolling basis for an active file for one year.

• Tutoring services may be provided at a location determined by the parent and administrator, or virtually, if needed
• The number of hours per day/week may vary
• Meet with students as scheduled to provide instruction which may include academic reinforcement, homework assistance, testing support, study and organizational skills
• Maintain and submit reports detailing student progress
• This is a part-time positionwithout benefits
• $33.54 per hour

The approximate dates vary based on needs. These needs may change at any time.
Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis and be maintained as active for one year.
