Job summary

Educational Service Center of Central Ohio seeks qualified candidates for academic tutor positions at Big Walnut High School (9-12). This part-time, hourly role offers $25 per hour for the 2026-2027 school year, 5 days a week with hours to be determined and no benefits.

Employment will be processed through the ESC of Central Ohio. Candidates must have or qualify for an active Ohio license and will report to the Building Principal. Questions should be directed to Nicole Carter.

Qualifications

• Must have or be eligible for current, active license through the Ohio State Board of Education.
• Part-time role with 5 hours per day, 5 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Work with students in collaboration with teaching staff and building administrators to support student growth and help improve student achievement.
• Follow supervision from Building Principal and coordinate with school staff to monitor progress.

Job description

The Big Walnut Local School District is currently seeking qualified candidates for academic tutor positions for approximately five (5) hours per day at Big Walnut High School (9-12). This is a part-time hourly position ($25/hour) with no benefits for the 2026.2027 school year - 5 days per week, hours TBD. Employment process will be completed through the ESC of Central Ohio.

Minimum Qualifications: Must have or be eligible for current, active license through the Ohio State Board of Education (https://sboe.ohio.gov/educator-licensure)
