Job summary

Compass Bridge Academy in San Jose, CA seeks instructors to guide and support students from 1st to 12th grade. You will lead small classes (5-8 kids), coach students, and help them identify learning gaps to improve homework and test prep.

This part-time, in-person role runs Mon–Thu 3:00–6:30 pm with paid training and an emphasis on long-term commitment. Ideal candidates enjoy working with children, are cheerful and punctual, and are good at Math up to Algebra 1 and Academic English concepts.

Qualifications

• Must enjoy being with children and be able to interact/engage with them.
• Must be good at Math (up to Algebra 1 level) & Academic English concepts.
• College students, college graduates, teaching credential program attendants, future teacher to be who want to work about 3+ hours a day while studying.

Responsibilities

Company Bridge Academy serves Evergreen/Silver Creek communities in San Jose. We are an education/learning center and have been in business for over years. We tutor afterschool students ranging from 1st to 12th grade.

We are looking for instructor(s) who can guide/support/assist students to build strong study habits, identify their learning challenges and knowledge gaps to better support them with their homework, test preparation.

1. Lead a class for Elementary, Middle (mostly) & High school students.

• Guide, coach, help to let kids understand concepts in a small class (5-8 kids)
• Typical working hours: Mon.- Thurs. 3:00 - 6:30 pm- hours might be slightly change.
• Paid Training: will be provided.
