Job summary

AJ Tutoring in the Bay Area seeks enthusiastic SAT tutors for in-person sessions at our centrally located offices. Join a professional 1-on-1 tutoring team and help students prepare for SAT/ACT or AP subjects, with ongoing support and paid training.

Candidates should be college graduates, punctual, reliable, and strong communicators who can commit at least 15 hours per week, including afternoons, evenings, and weekends.

Qualifications

• A college degree is required.
• Willingness to tutor in person in the Bay Area.
• Commit to at least 15 tutoring hours per week.
• Available afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
• Master SAT/ACT or AP subject knowledge is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Tutor students in SAT/ACT or AP subjects.
• Provide admin support and scheduling help.
• Maintain punctuality and professional communication.
• Work at AJ Tutoring through the upcoming academic year (June 2027).

SAT Tutors Wanted! Beautiful Office, Great Training! $35-$40/hr. Join the most professional 1-on-1 tutoring team in the Bay Area. If you're bright, energetic, and passionate about education, we’d love to talk with you!

Ideal test prep tutors are:

• eager to meet students in person
• A college graduate
• Conscientious, punctual, reliable, and on top of organizational tasks
• Excellent at communicating with students, parents, and colleagues
• Proactive and efficient in your work
• Team-oriented and coachable
• Enthusiastic and positive!
• Master the SAT/ACT or an academic subject at the high school AP level (Pre-Calculus or Calculus, Physics, Computer Science, English, History, Biology, or Chemistry)
• Commit to a minimum of 15 tutoring hours per week with a few additional hours of administrative work
• Tutor during after-school hours, including afternoons, evenings, and weekends
• Work at AJ Tutoring through the upcoming academic year (June 2027)
