Boys- in Kansas City, KS is seeking a part-time 21st Century Tutor to support elementary students through the 21st CCLC program.

You will prepare engaging lessons, administer phonics screening, and help grow students’ literacy skills in a collaborative after-school setting.

Qualifications

• Some college required.
• Teaching experience preferred.
• Experience facilitating quality programs for youth, preferably educational programs.
• Strong communications skills, both verbal and written, and strong presentation skills
• Group leadership skills, including an understanding of group dynamics.
• Ability to organize and multi-task a variety of responsibilities and deadlines.

Job Title: 21 st Century Tutor

Position Classification: Non-Exempt

Reports To: 21 st Century- Program Director

The 21 st CCLC program provides academic enrichment opportunities to complement student’s regular academic programs and offers literacy and other educational services to the families of participating children.

General Functions and Responsibilities:
