Job summary

Lineage Savannah is seeking a warehouse associate to pick, pull, and move full pallets in a cold/dry storage facility. You will operate a Turret and forklift, adhere to safety standards, and participate in equipment maintenance. The role runs Monday through Friday from 4pm to 1:30am, with potential weekend shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to understand instructions in the country’s official language or as defined by Lineage Logistics.
• Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20°F in cold storage sites or up to 100°F in dry storage while wearing PPE.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule and shift, including weekends if needed.

Responsibilities

• Write order numbers, names, and quantities for cases on pulled orders.
• Report bad tickets to the leader.
• Pull all orders in a timely manner.
• Assist with freight and locating products after pulling orders.
• Report broken pallets to supervisor.
• Complete daily forklift maintenance/check sheet.
• Monitor battery charge and clean batteries; place equipment at charging station.

Monday through Friday

4pm - 1:30am

Pick, pull, and move whole pallets of products while operating a Turret machine while following all regulatory and company safety standards, policies, and procedures. Place materials to be staged and put away in a warehouse environment.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Write the order number, name of the receiver, and quantity of case on every order, box, pallet, packages and bins pulled
• Report bad tickets right away to the appropriate leader
• Pull all orders in a timely manner
• Once orders are pulled, help run freight and locate product
• Report broken pallets to supervisor
• Complete daily forklift maintenance/check sheet
• Monitor battery charge, maintain, and clean batteries, and leave material handling equipment at the proper charging station

ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work with other machinery and material handling equipment

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES)

• Ability to understand instructions in Country’s official language or as defined by Lineage Logistics
• Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20 Fahrenheit/-25 Celsius in cold storage sites or up to 100 Fahrenheit/37 Celsius in dry storage sites while wearing company provided personal protective equipment and freezer gear
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs,; weight may be more dependent upon facility
• Ability to work a flexible work schedule and shift, including weekends if needed
• Must be comfortable with various noise levels, at times, can be loud
