Job summary

Lineage Logistics is seeking a 2nd shift pallet jack operator in Newark, NJ. You will operate pallet jack equipment to select and assemble customer orders with accuracy and efficiency, while following safety procedures to ensure proper delivery locations for daily operations.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills required.
• Ability to understand instructions in the official language or as defined by Lineage Logistics.
• Ability to give voice commands in English may be required.
• Able to work in cold or hot storage environments with PPE.
• Must lift a minimum of 40 lbs. (18 kg).
• Flexible schedule, including weekends if needed.
• Able to tolerate various noise levels.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-use inspection on pallet jack equipment.
• Mark materials with identifying information.
• Open boxes and other containers when necessary.
• Pick products and ensure correct lot numbers/product codes.
• Record material amounts using site equipment for inventory updates.
• Arrange stock parts in specific order for assembly.
• Communicate damaged products to inventory or lead/supervisor.
• Work with other machinery and material handling equipment.

2nd Shift Role

Monday - Friday 3:00PM - 11:30PM

Join our 2nd shift team, working Monday through Friday from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM. In this role, you will operate pallet jack equipment to select and assemble customer orders with accuracy and efficiency. Team members are expected to follow all company and regulatory safety procedures while ensuring products are delivered to the appropriate locations to support daily operations.

What You'll Do

• Perform pre-use inspection on pallet jack equipment
• Mark materials with identifying information
• Open boxes and other containers when necessary
• Pick products and make sure it shows the correct selection of lot numbers/product codes
• Record amount of material using site specific equipment to update inventory
• Arrange stock parts in specific order for assembly
• Communicate damaged products to inventory or lead/supervisor
• Work with other machinery and material handling equipment

What You'll Bring

• Basic math skills
• Ability to understand instructions in Country's official language or as defined by Lineage Logistics
• Ability to give voice commands in English may be required
• Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20 Fahrenheit/-25 Celsius in cold storage sites or up to 100 Fahrenheit/37 Celsius in dry storage sites while wearing company provided personal protective equipment and freezer gear
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs./18 kgs.; weight may be more dependent upon facility
• Ability to work a flexible work schedule and shift, including weekends if needed
• Must be comfortable with various noise levels, at times, can be loud

Pay Range:$16.97 - $28.65
