Job summary

Lineage Logistics is seeking a warehouse associate in Savannah, GA. You will pick, pull, and move pallets, operate a turret forklift, and stage materials while adhering to safety and company policies.

You will document orders and assist with freight, maintaining equipment and battery charging. Workweek is Monday through Friday, with shifts that require attention to temperature controls and noise levels in a dynamic warehouse setting.

Qualifications

• Must understand instructions in Lineage's official language or as defined by Lineage Logistics.
• Ability to work in cold storage (-20 F/-25 C) or hot dry storage (up to 100 F/37 C) with PPE.
• Must be able to lift at least 40 lbs with facility variability.
• Flexibility to work a rotating schedule and weekends as needed.
• Must tolerate varying noise levels in warehouse environments.

Responsibilities

• Write order numbers, receiver names, and quantities on all items pulled.
• Report bad tickets immediately to the leadership.
• Pull orders promptly and accurately.
• Assist with freight and locate products after pulling orders.
• Report broken pallets to supervisor.
• Complete daily forklift maintenance/checks.
• Monitor battery charge and keep equipment charged and clean.

Job description

Monday through Friday

4pm - 1:30am

Pick, pull, and move whole pallets of products while operating a Turret machine while following all regulatory and company safety standards, policies, and procedures. Place materials to be staged and put away in a warehouse environment.

Key Duties And Responsibilities

• Write the order number, name of the receiver, and quantity of case on every order, box, pallet, packages and bins pulled
• Report bad tickets right away to the appropriate leader
• Pull all orders in a timely manner
• Once orders are pulled, help run freight and locate product
• Report broken pallets to supervisor
• Complete daily forklift maintenance/check sheet
• Monitor battery charge, maintain, and clean batteries, and leave material handling equipment at the proper charging station

• Work with other machinery and material handling equipment

Minimum Requirements (knowledge, Skills, Abilities)

• Ability to understand instructions in Country's official language or as defined by Lineage Logistics
• Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20 Fahrenheit/-25 Celsius in cold storage sites or up to 100 Fahrenheit/37 Celsius in dry storage sites while wearing company provided personal protective equipment and freezer gear
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs,; weight may be more dependent upon facilityAbility to work a flexible work schedule and shift, including weekends if needed
• Must be comfortable with various noise levels, at times, can be loud
