Job summary

Lineage Logistics in Medley, FL, seeks a warehouse associate for the 2nd shift to pick, pull, and move whole pallets using a Turret machine in a cold storage environment. You will ensure accurate documentation and maintain safety standards throughout daily operations.

Responsibilities include pulling orders promptly, assisting with freight, monitoring equipment, and performing forklift tasks. Requires lifting up to 50 lbs, tolerance for cold temperatures, and a flexible schedule including

Qualifications

• Must understand instructions in English as defined by Lineage Logistics.
• Able to work in cold storage temperatures to -20 F (-25 C) wearing PPE.
• Must lift at least 50 lbs; weight may be higher by facility.
• Flexible work schedule including weekends if needed.
• Must be comfortable with varying noise levels.

Responsibilities

• Write the order number, name of the receiver, and quantity of case on every order, box, pallet, packages and bins pulled.
• Report bad tickets to the appropriate leader immediately.
• Pull all orders in a timely manner.
• Assist with freight and locate product after orders are pulled.
• Report broken pallets to supervisor.
• Complete daily forklift maintenance/check sheet.
• Monitor battery charge, maintain and clean batteries, and leave equipment at charging station.
• Work with other machinery and material handling equipment.

2nd shift

Monday - Friday

3pm - 11:30pm

Pick, pull, and move whole pallets of products while operating a Turret machine while following all regulatory and company safety standards, policies, and procedures. Place materials to be staged and put away in a warehouse environment.

Key Duties And Responsibilities

• Write the order number, name of the receiver, and quantity of case on every order, box, pallet, packages and bins pulled
• Report bad tickets right away to the appropriate leader
• Pull all orders in a timely manner
• Once orders are pulled, help run freight and locate product
• Report broken pallets to supervisor
• Complete daily forklift maintenance/check sheet
• Monitor battery charge, maintain, and clean batteries, and leave material handling equipment at the proper charging station
• Work with other machinery and material handling equipment

Minimum Requirements (knowledge, Skills, Abilities)

• Ability to understand instructions in Country's official language or as defined by Lineage Logistics
• Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20 Fahrenheit/-25 Celsius in cold storage sites while wearing company provided personal protective equipment and freezer gear
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs,; weight may be more dependent upon facility
• Ability to work a flexible work schedule and shift, including weekends if needed
• Must be comfortable with various noise levels, at times, can be loud
