Job summary

Lineage Logistics in Westfield, MA is seeking a warehouse associate to pick, pull, and move full pallets while operating a Turret machine and adhering to safety standards. You will place materials in staging areas and support warehouse operations to ensure accurate, on-time order fulfillment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs.

• Experience or ability to operate a Turret forklift.

Responsibilities

• Write order numbers, names, and quantities on all items pulled.
• Pull all orders in a timely manner and help run freight.
• Report damaged pallets and complete daily forklift maintenance sheets.
• Monitor battery charge and maintain/clean batteries.

Job description

Pick, pull, and move whole pallets of products while operating a Turret machine while following all regulatory and company safety standards, policies, and procedures. Place materials to be staged and put away in a warehouse environment.

Key Duties And Responsibilities

• Write the order number, name of the receiver, and quantity of case on every order, box, pallet, packages and bins pulled
• Report bad tickets right away to the appropriate leader
• Pull all orders in a timely manner
• Once orders are pulled, help run freight and locate product
• Report broken pallets to supervisor
• Complete daily forklift maintenance/check sheet
• Monitor battery charge, maintain, and clean batteries, and leave material handling equipment at the proper charging station

Additional Duties And Responsibilities

• Work with other machinery and material handling equipment

Minimum Requirements (knowledge, Skills, Abilities)

• Ability to understand instructions in Country's official language or as defined by Lineage Logistics
• Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20 Fahrenheit/-25 Celsius in cold storage sites or up to 100 Fahrenheit/37 Celsius in dry storage sites while wearing company provided personal protective equipment and freezer gear
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs,; weight may be more dependent upon facility
• Ability to work a flexible work schedule and shift, including weekends if needed
• Must be comfortable with various noise levels, at times, can be loud

Pay Range:$17.79 - $30.05
