Responsibilities

• Review job orders and drawings to determine customer specifications.
• Set up and operate turret punching equipment.
• Start and prepare machines for production, including resetting equipment to home/zero position.
• Modify computer programs as needed to meet job specifications.
• Set up and adjust tooling according to production requirements.
• Perform incoming inspections on materials prior to processing.
• Perform first-piece inspections to ensure proper machine setup and product quality.
• Monitor production to meet required quantities while maintaining quality standards.
• Deliver completed material to the next operation within the production cell.
• Identify tooling needs and coordinate replacement parts as necessary.
• Help identify and eliminate waste and non-value-added processes.
• Follow all safety procedures and use required PPE.
• Assist in other areas of the production cell as needed.

Turret Machine Operator

Location: Buffalo, NY Pay Rate:$18.00–$24.00/hour Schedule: 2nd Shift | Monday–Thursday | 4: 00 PM–2: 30 AM Overtime: Friday and Saturday as needed

Our client is seeking an experienced Turret Machine Operator to join their manufacturing team.

This position is responsible for setting up and operating turret equipment to punch and prepare materials according to customer specifications.

The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities

• Review job orders and drawings to determine customer specifications
• Set up and operate turret punching equipment
• Start and prepare machines for production, including resetting equipment to proper home/zero position
• Modify computer programs as needed to meet job specifications
• Set up and adjust tooling according to production requirements

Schedule & Overtime

• Monday–Thursday: 4: 00 PM–2: 30 AM
• Friday: 4: 00 PM–2: 30 AM overtime as needed
• Saturday: 11: 30 AM–5: 30 PM overtime as needed
• Overtime may be required based on production needs
