Nevada Gold Mines is seeking an Underground Mobile Maintenance Frontline Supervisor for Turquoise Ridge operations in Winnemucca, NV. Qualifications

• Minimum ten years of verifiable maintenance experience.
• Five years of supervisory or lead experience preferred.
• Experience with road headers or mechanical mining mobile equipment preferred.
• Experience in a planned maintenance environment preferred.
• Ability to navigate SAP S4/Hana and Oracle EAM preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics required.
• Professional communication skills with employees at all levels required.
• Excellent leadership and influencing skills required.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc., required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Commitment to safe work culture required.
• Able to operate mine tractors and company vehicles; rotating night/day schedule is essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead the safe execution of maintenance activities for Sandvik MH620 road header and supporting mobile equipment.
• Support objectives of Mechanical Mining Maintenance General Supervisor.
• Supervise Road Header Technicians and vendor services.
• Assist with planning, scheduling, and forecasting maintenance activities and projects.
• Ensure maintenance activities comply with safety, security, and environmental policies.
• Participate in maintenance planning processes.
• Ensure departmental reliability objectives are met.
• Administer company policies and procedures.
• Support cost management and value maximization; focus on minimizing risks.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Lead the safe execution of maintenance activities for Sandvik MH620 road header and supporting mobile equipment

• Assist Mechanical Mining Maintenance General Supervisor with planning and scheduling maintenance activities and forecasting projects

• Participate in maintenance planning processes
• Ensure that departmental condition monitoring and reliability objectives are met
• Administer company policies and procedures
• Support operational objectives by minimizing risks and maximizing value. focusing on cost management
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Minimum ten (10) years of verifiable and related maintenance experience required
• Five (5) years of supervisory or lead experience preferred
• Experience with maintenance of road headers or mechanical mining mobile equipment preferred
• Experience in a planned maintenance environment preferred
• Ability to navigate SAP S4/Hana and Oracle Element preferred
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics required
• Professional communication skills with various levels of employees both verbally and in writing required
• Excellent leadership skills and knowledge of influencing others required
• Performance of the essential job functions required
• Team based work skills required
• Proficient with basic computer software packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), required
• Valid driver's license, required
• Commitment to developing and maintaining a safe work culture, required
• Able to drive manual transmission mine tractor and other company vehicles (vans and trucks), required
• The ability to work a rotating schedule of nights and days is an essential function of this role.
