Job summary

Catholic Charities of Northeast Kansas, Inc. is seeking a Production Associate to support TurnStyles donations, inspect and price merchandise, and move items from donation bay to the sales floor. You will work under the Production Manager to meet daily item-production quotes while helping to maximize sales and profitability.

The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and mission-driven service. The position requires ability to stand and lift up to 25 pounds, willingness to work flexible hours

Qualifications

• Demonstrate a passion for Catholic Charities mission.
• Must complete VIRTUS training, background screening, drug testing, and ongoing training as required.
• Strong customer service experience, effectively handling donor and/or customer complaints.
• Solid knowledge of retail or thrift store operations preferred.
• Proficient computer knowledge.
• Ability to work flexible hours.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Follows guidelines for testing, cleaning, pricing, and tagging merchandise to ensure quality items reach the sales floor.
• Under supervision, work up to 8 hours in an assigned daily position.
• Sort, price, and stage household décor at 65+ pieces per hour.
• Coach new employees in learning and executing the production process.
• Assist volunteers with questions about the production process; connect them with a supervisor when needed.
• Maintain safe, organized workspaces in all processing areas of the store.
• Serve as backup on the sales floor and donation bay when required.
• Position hours vary; evenings and weekends possible.
• Be a team player and perform other duties as assigned.
