Job summary

Pacifico Energy seeks an Electrical Construction Manager to represent the owner on turnover and commissioning for large capital projects. You will lead cross-functional walkdowns, maintain punch lists, and ensure turnover completeness prior to handovers, coordinating with construction and quality teams.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years in turnover/completion roles and experience on lump-sum EPC contracts, with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent field experience.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in turnover, completions or commissioning on large capital projects.
• 5+ years representing an owner over an EPC contractor under a lump-sum contract.
• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent field experience) in a relevant discipline.

Responsibilities

• Own the system turnover sequence and boundary definitions.
• Convene and lead walkdowns with construction, commissioning and quality.
• Maintain the punch list and drive closure to agreed categories.
• Review construction work package boundaries against turnover needs.
• Track turnover documentation completeness ahead of each handover.
• Report turnover and completion status to the Commissioning Manager.

Cedar Creek is a 1,100 MW simple-cycle gas turbine power project built under a lump-sum EPC contract. As Electrical Construction Manager you represent the owner for electrical installation plant-wide — work that is largely buried or energized by the time anyone thinks to question it.
