Job summary

Pacifico Energy LLC in Cedar Creek, Nebraska is seeking a Commissioning Manager to lead the owner's commissioning organization through startup and performance testing of the full turbine fleet, ensuring readiness for commercial operation.

You will oversee gas turbine and generator delivery, monitor settings, install turbine auxiliaries, coordinate OEM field service reps, and review work packages to prevent recurring issues, drawing on 12+ years of turbine experience and a mechanical engineering

Qualifications

• 12+ years installing large gas turbines and generators.
• 5+ years representing an owner over an EPC contractor under lump-sum contract.
• Deep familiarity with OEM installation procedures and alignment practice.
• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, or equivalent field experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee gas turbine and generator delivery, storage and preservation.
• Monitor machine setting and alignment against vendor tolerances.
• Oversee installation of turbine auxiliaries, lube oil and inlet air systems.
• Monitor lube oil flushing and cleanliness through to acceptance.
• Coordinate OEM field service representatives across the fleet.
• Review work packages early — a packaging flaw repeats on every unit.

Cedar Creek is a 1,100 MW simple-cycle gas turbine power project moving toward commercial operation. As Commissioning Manager you lead the owner's commissioning organization through startup and performance testing of the full turbine fleet. It is the seat that decides when the project is finished.
