Job summary

MSA Safety is hiring Production Workers at our Pittsfield, NH plant to perform sewing and non-sewing operations converting turnout gear components. 1st shift runs 6:00 am–3:30 pm (Fri 6:00 am–2:30 pm) with overtime as needed. Starting pay is $19.27/hour; temp-to-perm basis.

Candidates must have 3 months sewing experience, read/write/speak basic English, pass background/drug/physicals, and lift 30 pounds. High School Diploma or GED preferred. Training available if experience is lacking.

Qualifications

• Able to read, write and speak basic English.

Responsibilities

• Operate stitching machines to assemble turnout gear shell or liner and ensure quality.
• Learn additional operations and support departmental teamwork.
• Read measurements using a ruler and maintain accurate stitching.
