Job summary

MSA Safety is hiring Production Workers in Pittsfield, NH to operate sewing and non-sewing operations transforming fabric into turnout gear. The role starts as a temporary position with potential to become permanent.

Shifts are first shift with overtime possibilities. Starting pay is $19.27 per hour, with opportunity for additional compensation based on experience. Ideal candidates will be able to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks safely.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 months of sewing machine / stitching operation experience.
• Able to read, write and speak basic English.
• Background check, drug screen and pre-employment physicals required.
• Must be able to stand for 8 hours, walk full shift, and lift 1–25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Operate stitching machines for turnout gear shell or liner, supporting team by learning additional operations.
• Learn and perform tasks in other areas as needed.
• Maintain quality of work and adhere to safety standards.
