Job summary

MSA Safety is hiring for a Production Worker in Pittsfield, NH to perform sewing and related manufacturing tasks on the turnout gear shell or liner. You will learn stitching operations on multiple machines and may rotate to other operations as needed.

Starting pay is $19.27/hour with potential for additional compensation based on experience. The role requires basic English, physical qualifications, and ability to work 1st shift with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• 3 months minimum of sewing machine / stitching operation.
• Read, write, and speak basic English.
• Background check, drug screen and pre-employment physicals required.
• Stand for 8 hours; walk during shift; lift 1–25 pounds; work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Stitch turnout gear shells or liners using various sewing machines.
• Support the department by learning two additional operations.
• Maintain quality and assist in related manufacturing tasks.
