Job summary

MSA Safety is hiring Production Workers at our Pittsfield, New Hampshire plant. You will perform sewing and related machine operation to convert fabric into turnout gear shells and liners. The role emphasizes quality, teamwork, and learning multiple operations.

Starting pay is $19.27 per hour with potential additional compensation based on experience. Shifts run 6:00 am–3:30 pm Monday–Thursday and 6:00 am–2:30 pm Friday, with overtime as needed. Safety gear is required.

Qualifications

• 3 months minimum sewing machine/stitching operation.
• Able to read, write and speak basic English.
• Background check, drug screen and pre-employment physicals are required.
• Stand stationary for 8 hours and walk unassisted for full shift.
• Read, write, and speak English; hear noises clearly; good depth perception.

Responsibilities

• Stitching operations using single/double needle and programmable machines.
• Support department by learning at least two additional operations.
• Machine operation roles include snapping, seam seal, automated stitching, trim.
• Follow safety guidelines and quality standards while working in a team.
