Job summary

Genuine Search Group is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer in the Dayton, OH area to design, build, and deploy automated machinery systems. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing/Mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• 1–6+ years in manufacturing or automation.
• Strong CNC programming experience (G-code, CAM).
• Proficiency in SolidWorks or AutoCAD.
• Experience managing turnkey manufacturing/automation projects.
• Knowledge of machining, tooling, fixturing, and materials.
• Willingness to travel for installations.

Responsibilities

• Develop, write, and optimize CNC programs for multi-axis machining centers.
• Interpret and work from mechanical designs using SolidWorks or AutoCAD for manufacturability.
• Lead turnkey manufacturing processes including machine setup, validation, and handoff to customers.
• Collaborate with design engineering to refine product designs for manufacturability and cost efficiency.
• Oversee machine installation and commissioning at customer sites.
• Create and maintain detailed process documentation, SOPs, and work instructions.
• Troubleshoot machining, tooling, and automation issues and implement corrective actions.
• Select and validate tooling, fixtures, and cutting strategies to optimize cycle times.
