Job summary

Insight Global in Chester, VA is seeking a Project Manager to lead Data Center Development & Construction projects from preconstruction through commissioning. You will coordinate with GC, MEP partners, architects and vendors to deliver on time and within budget.

We value strong leadership, risk management, and excellent communication. A Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of relevant experience are preferred; PMP/CCM certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in lieu of degree.
• 7+ years of PM experience on data centers or mission-critical projects.
• Strong contract, cost control, scheduling, and change management skills.
• Ownership mindset with accountability for cost, schedule and quality.
• Proactive problem solver with excellent communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of turnkey data center projects from preconstruction through commissioning.
• Coordinate with general contractors, MEP trade partners, architects, engineers and vendors.
• Develop and track schedules; escalate risks and deviations to leadership with solutions.
• Manage project budgets, review cost-to-complete forecasts and variances.
• Review change orders and ensure documentation of scope, cost, and schedule impacts.
• Oversee contract administration and ensure safety and quality compliance.
• Implement project controls and change management to prevent scope creep.
