Turning Leaf is seeking a friendly Retail Sales Representative to deliver outstanding customer service in our Grand Forks store. You will assist managers, drive sales, handle transactions, and maintain store appearance aligned with brand standards.

Ideal candidates bring strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork, plus a willingness to learn about our wellness products and promotions. Training is provided, with opportunities for advancement based on performance.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent required.
• Experience in retail sales or similar is a plus.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and maintain organization.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager and Assistant Manager in daily operations and to meet or exceed target metric objectives.
• Coordinate daily customer service operations (e.g. sales processes).
• Operate cash drawer, performing basic math, counting back change amounts, and verifying cash and credit amounts.
• Conduct inventory counts and report accurate variances.
• Attend team meetings and act as store representative.
• Maintain store cleanliness and organization per company standards.
• Follow all company policies and report concerns to management.
• Communicate with customers and evaluate their needs.
• Analyze customer behavior to adjust sales strategies and merchandising in-store.
• Address and resolve customer complaints and grievances.
• Ensure consistent execution of marketing and visual presentation.
• Verify store security at closing and sign for shipments of age-restricted products.

Turning Leaf - one of the Midwest's largest CBD and vapor retailers - is growing and expanding! We are looking for a qualified retail sales representative to provide our customers with outstanding service.

For many, quitting smoking in favor of vaping is just the first step in their wellness journey. As we have found with hemp and kratom products, adult consumers prefer alternative wellness options.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for maintaining store cleanliness and organization in accordance with company’s standards and expectations
• Properly follow all company policies and procedures and report concerns to upper management
• Communicate with customers and evaluate their needs
• Analyze customer behavior and adjust sales strategies and merchandising in-store
• Address and resolve customer complaints and grievances
• Ensure consistent execution of company’s marketing and visual presentation
• Verify store security at closing by checking for locked doors, locked safes, and set alarms
• Ability to sign for and receive shipments of age-restricted products

Requirements

• Ability to stand/walk for long periods of time
• Comfortable picking up and carrying boxes up to 50 lbs.
• High school degree or equivalent
• Experience as a retail sales representative or similar role is a plus
• Familiarity with visual merchandising
• Ability to stock and restock shelves
• Strong communication skills
