Turning Leaf LLC is seeking a qualified retail sales representative to deliver outstanding service to customers in our Midwest CBD and vapor retail environment. The role focuses on helping customers find wellness options, maintaining a welcoming store ambience, and supporting store managers in daily operations.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to work well in a team.

Qualifications

• Must have strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
• Familiarity with merchandising and store presentation is beneficial.
• Ability to handle cash and operate basic point-of-sale processes.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager and Assistant Manager in daily operations and to meet or exceed target metric objectives.
• Coordinate daily customer service operations (e.g., sales processes).
• Operate cash drawer, counting back change amounts and verifying cash and card transactions.
• Conduct inventory counts and report accurate variances.
• Attend team meetings and represent the store in line with company standards.
• Maintain store cleanliness and organization per company policies.
• Follow all policies and report concerns to upper management.
• Communicate with customers and evaluate their needs.
• Analyze customer behavior and adjust sales strategies in-store.
• Address and resolve customer complaints and grievances.
• Ensure consistent execution of marketing and visual presentation.
• Verify store security at closing and ensure alarms are set.
• Sign for and receive shipments of age-restricted products.

Job description

Turning Leaf - one of the Midwest's largest CBD and vapor retailers - is growing and expanding! We are looking for a qualified retail sales representative to provide our customers with outstanding service.

For many, quitting smoking in favor of vaping is just the first step in their wellness journey. As we have found with hemp and kratom products, adult consumers prefer alternative wellness options.

A great candidate will have strong communication skills who knows how to delight customers and make them feel welcome and respected. A positive and friendly attitude is a must. Our retail sales representatives must ensure that every customer leaves our store satisfied and eager to visit again. Retail sales representatives are also responsible for directly supporting store managers and regional managers, as well as all store-level initiatives.

Requirements

• Ability to stand/walk for long periods of time
• Comfortable picking up and carrying boxes up to 50 lbs.
• High school degree or equivalent
• Experience as a retail sales representative or similar role is a plus
• Familiarity with visual merchandising
• Ability to stock and restock shelves
