TURNING LEAF is growing and hiring a Retail Sales Representative to join our Midwest CBD and vapor store team. You will deliver outstanding customer service, manage sales processes, handle cash, assist with inventory, and contribute to a welcoming shopping environment.

We value strong communication, reliability, and teamwork as you help customers explore wellness products and maintain store standards, merchandising, and safety. Training provided; growth opportunities available.

Qualifikationen

• Stand/walk for long periods.
• Ability to lift/carry boxes up to 50 lbs.
• High school degree or equivalent required.
• Retail experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with visual merchandising desired.
• Stocking/restocking shelves.

• Coordinate daily customer service and sales processes.
• Operate cash drawer, count back change, verify cash/credit amounts.
• Conduct inventory counts and report variances.

• Maintain store cleanliness and organization per standards.
• Follow company policies and report concerns to management.
• Communicate with customers and assess needs.
• Analyze customer behavior to adjust sales strategies and merchandising.
• Address and resolve customer complaints and feedback.
• Ensure consistent execution of marketing and visual presentation.
• Verify store security at closing and document alarms.

Job description

Turning Leaf - one of the Midwest's largest CBD and vapor retailers - is growing and expanding! We are looking for a qualified retail sales representative to provide our customers with outstanding service.

We are excited for our future as we will begin offering products with our customers overall wellness in mind. For many, quitting smoking in favor of vaping is just the first step in their wellness journey. As we have found with hemp and kratom products, adult consumers prefer alternative wellness options.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager and Assistant Manager in daily operations and to meet or exceed target metric objectives
• Coordinate daily customer service operations (e.g. sales processes)
• Operate cash drawer, performing basic math, counting back change amounts, and verifying cash and credit amounts
• Conduct inventory counts and report accurate variances
• Attend team meetings
• Act as our store’s representative and set an example for other team members
• Responsible for maintaining store cleanliness and organization in accordance with company’s standards and expectations
• Properly follow all company policies and procedures and report concerns to upper management
• Communicate with customers and evaluate their needs
• Analyze customer behavior and adjust sales strategies and merchandising in-store
• Address and resolve customer complaints and grievances
• Ensure consistent execution of company’s marketing and visual presentation
• Verify store security at closing by checking for locked doors, locked safes, and set alarms
• Ability to sign for and receive shipments of age-restricted products

Requirements

• Ability to stand/walk for long periods of time
• Comfortable picking up and carrying boxes up to 50 lbs.
• High school degree or equivalent
• Experience as a retail sales representative or similar role is a plus
• Familiarity with visual merchandising
• Ability to stock and restock shelves
• Strong communication skills
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Good organization skills
• Positive and friendly attitude
• Ability to successfully work in a team-oriented environment
