Job description

We are seeking a skilled Turner to join our team in Atlanta. As a Turner you will be responsible for operating machinery and tools to shape and form metal parts into precise specifications. This is a full-time position that requires strong English speaking skills and the ability to work with precision.

Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpret technical drawings to determine the required dimensions and specifications for metal parts.
• Operate lathes, grinders, drills and other machinery to cut, shape and smooth metal parts.
• Use measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers and gauges to ensure accuracy of finished products.
• Inspect finished parts for quality assurance and make adjustments as necessary.
• Maintain machinery by performing routine maintenance and repairs.
• Follow safety protocols at all times to ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Turner or similar role.
• Strong English speaking skills with the ability to understand technical terminology.
• Proficiency in reading technical drawings and using measuring tools.
• Physical stamina and dexterity to operate machinery for extended periods of time.
• Attention to detail and ability to work with precision.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
