FutureTech in Akron is seeking an entry-level Turner to operate and maintain turning machines, producing metal parts to exact specifications.

You will read blueprints, set up equipment, and ensure quality control while following safety procedures. Training opportunities are available; English proficiency is required and visa considerations are noted.

Qualifications

We are in need of an entry level Turner to join our team in Akron. As a Turner you will be responsible for operating and maintaining machines and tools used to shape metal pieces into specific sizes and shapes.

This is a full-time position with a salary of $1100 per month.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain turning machines to shape metal pieces according to specifications
• Use various tools such as lathes grinders drills and milling machines
• Read technical drawings and blueprints to determine proper measurements and tolerances
• Inspect finished products for quality control
• Make adjustments to machines as needed for optimal performance
• Follow all safety procedures and regulations
