Job summary

The Langham, Chicago is seeking a Turndown Attendant to provide turndown service and clean guest rooms to the hotel's established standards. You will handle guest requests, report maintenance needs, and ensure room confidentiality.

This role requires English fluency, attention to detail, teamwork, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Prior hospitality experience preferred; High School diploma typically expected.

Responsibilities

• Provide turndown service and clean guest rooms as assigned, ensuring the hotel's established standards of cleanliness.
• Report any maintenance deficiencies and handling guest requests or complaints.
• Ensure the confidentiality and security of all guest rooms.
• Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies/service procedures/standards.
• Anticipate guests’ needs and respond promptly to inquiries.
• Resolve guest complaints to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned work areas.
• Use correct cleaning chemicals per OSHA regulations and hotel requirements.
• Transport supplies to assigned guest rooms and position securely.
• Update status of rooms cleaned and turned down on assignment sheet.
