Job summary

Coral Tree Hospitality is seeking a Housekeeping Turn Down Attendant for Pier Sixty-Six Resort in Fort Lauderdale, FL. You will perform nightly turndown service, prepare carts, maintain safety and cleanliness, and ensure guest rooms meet luxury standards.

This role requires attention to detail, teamwork, and reliable, courteous service in a high-end hotel environment. Experience in hospitality preferred; fluency in English, ability to lift up to 25 lbs, and the willingness to work a flexible

Qualifications

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Fluency in English (verbal and written).
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and prioritize tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Perform nightly turndown service following hotel standards.
  • Prepare Housekeeping Carts with supplies to complete tasks.
  • Inspect cleaning equipment and report deficiencies.
  • Ensure all doors and windows are securely locked.
  • Report engineering-related deficiencies as needed.
  • Remove trash and place in designated area.
  • Dust surfaces including furniture, fixtures, and electronics.
  • Wipe and sanitize high-touch areas.
  • Replace bed linens and towels when necessary.
  • Prepare beds according to hotel standards.
  • Replace bathroom toiletries and amenities.
  • Wipe mirrors and glass surfaces.
  • Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors as required.
  • Move and organize guest belongings.
  • Check and replenish guestroom amenities.
  • Ensure in-room safe is functioning.
  • Perform other reasonable duties as assigned by Supervisors.

We currently have an opportunity for a Housekeeping Turn Down Attendant to join our Pier Sixty‑Six Resort.

Responsibilities
  • Perform nightly turndown service assignment following hotel standards.
  • Prepare Housekeeping Carts with all necessary supplies to complete tasks.
  • Inspect cleaning equipment and report deficiencies.
  • Ensure all doors and windows are securely locked
  • Report all engineering related deficiencies.
  • Remove trash & place in designated area.
  • Dust all surfaces including furniture, fixtures, and electronics.
  • Wipe and sanitize high‑touch areas.
  • Replace all bed linens & terry when necessary.
  • Prepare the bed according to the hotel standards.
  • Replace bathroom toiletries & amenities.
  • Wipe all mirrors and glass surfaces.
  • Vacuum carpets or rugs, sweep and mop hard floors
  • Fold & organize guest belongings.
  • Check and replenish guestroom amenities.
  • Remove in‑room dining items and place in designated area.
  • Ensure the in‑room safe is functioning and properly secured.
  • Arrange furniture neatly
  • Adjust the room temperature to the appropriate level.
  • Do a final walk‑through to ensure everything is clean and in place.
  • Check that all lights and appliances are working.
  • Close and secure the door properly.
  • Ability to move, lift, carry, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance and over 25 pounds with assistance.
  • Ability to push and pull a loaded housekeeping cart and other work‑related equipment over sloping and uneven surfaces.
  • Performs other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional hospitality management or related field education is a plus.
  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.
  • Proficiency in Alice software is preferred.
  • Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and chemical handling, as well as requirements and use of equipment is preferred.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and prioritize tasks effectively or as a part of a team.
  • Fluency in English both verbal and non‑verbal. Provide legible communication.
  • Physical mobility and stamina to perform tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
