TNT Crane and Rigging Inc is seeking a Turnaround Rigger to support a project out of our Norco branch. The role involves assisting the crane operator, rigging safely, and following all safety and environmental policies on site.

Ideal candidates will have 5 years of rigging experience, NCCER Advanced Level II Rigger Certification, and a TWIC Card. This is not a guaranteed-hours, non-full-time position grounded on project needs and site requirements.

Qualifications

• 5 years of rigging experience.
• Must have NCCER Advanced Level II Rigger Certification.
• TWIC Card required.

Responsabilités

• Assists the crane operator in the proper set-up of the equipment.
• Assists the crane operator in the maintenance of the crane and accessory equipment (pickup trucks, haul trucks, trailers, etc.).
• Understands and can perform proper rigging techniques to ensure safe lifting of the load.
• Utilizes proper hand signals during crane operations.
• Properly secures equipment to the trailer before operating the truck.
• Inspects truck and trailer and fills out the inspection report before operating the vehicle.
• Reports mechanical defects in writing to the supervisor.
