Job summary

TNT Crane & Rigging is seeking Turnaround Riggers for a project-based role in Norco, LA. The position requires at least 3+ years of rigging experience and the ability to pass a background and drug screen.

The role involves assisting the crane operator, performing rigging tasks, signaling operations, and ensuring safety and compliance on site. This is a contract/project-based opportunity with variable hours.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years rigging experience.
• Must have NCCER Advanced Level II Rigger Certification.
• TWIC Card required.
• Background and drug screening passed.

Responsibilities

• Assists the crane operator in the proper set-up of the equipment.
• Assists the crane operator in the maintenance of the crane and accessory equipment (e.g., pickup trucks, haul trucks, trailers).
• Understands and can perform proper rigging techniques to ensure safe lifting of the load.
• Utilizes proper hand signals during all crane operations.
• Properly secures equipment to the trailer before operating the truck.
• Inspects truck and trailer and fills out the truck inspection report before operating the vehicle; submits to supervisor.
• Reports mechanical defects in writing to the shop technician or supervisor.

Turnaround Rigger

Reports to Branch Manager

TNT Crane and Rigging Inc is looking for Turnaround Riggers for a project working out of our branch for turnaround.

This not a full-time position and has no guarantee of hours after the end of the project. The ideal candidate must have 3+ years' experience and be able to pass a background and drug screen.

Summary:Assists the crane operator on job tasks during the operation of the crane and provides rigging operation and hand signals to ensure safe lifting of the load. Follows all State and Federal laws while operating a motor vehicle. Obeys all safety and environmental policies while performing work on the job site.

• Inspects truck and trailer and fills out truck inspection report before operating the vehicle. Turns in Inspection report to the proper supervisor.
• Reports mechanical defects in writing on the truck and/or trailers to the shop technician or a supervisor.
