Welo Data in Burlingame, CA is seeking a Data Labeling Associate to evaluate AI outputs, identify gaps, and improve systems in real-world scenarios. This role sits at the intersection of data quality, model evaluation, and human judgment.

You will work onsite at one of our U.S. locations, with a 40-hour work week on a 1-year contract, and must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of professional writing experience.
• Ability to apply complex writing rules and guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI model outputs and provide structured feedback.
• Audit data and model behavior to identify patterns and edge cases.
• Apply guidelines thoughtfully and flag gaps when needed.
