Prestage is hiring for a turkey production line role in North Carolina. The position involves performing repetitive tasks, standing for long periods, and working in cold environments while using PPE and following food safety requirements.

Responsibilities include operating equipment, adhering to USDA, HACCP, SSOP, SOP, GMP, and SQF standards, and maintaining safety. The role may require working at different stations to support production or supervision as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform repetitive tasks on the turkey production line using tools such as knives.
• Work in cold temperature conditions while wearing PPE and following safety and foods safety requirements.
• Operate equipment as required and work at different stations as production or supervisor needs require.
• Ensure USDA regulatory compliance, HACCP, SSOP, SOP, GMP, and SQF program quality and safety.
• Advocate and maintain a strong commitment to safety in the operating process including PPE, reporting unsafe acts and conditions.
• Support production or supervision as needed.
