Prestage Farms is seeking a candidate for our Turkey Breeder Manager Trainee Program. Responsibilities include assisting in day-to-day operations on a turkey breeder farm, brooding and rearing turkeys from hatch to 30 weeks, animal health and well-being, farm sanitation and biosecurity, safety and housekeeping, proper washing and disinfection of the facility, and facility maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Assist in all operations and care for the animals.
• Ensure the welfare and wellbeing of the animals.
• Ensure the animals have proper feed and water availability.
• Identify problem areas and correct or report them to the supervisor.
• Maintain all equipment and the correct environment in all barns at all times.
• Pressure wash.
• Promote teamwork.
• Perform other duties as defined by the manager or supervisor.
