Job summary

Prestage Farms is seeking candidates for its Turkey Breeder Manager Trainee Program. The role involves day-to-day operations on a turkey breeder farm, brooding and rearing turkeys from hatch to 30 weeks, and focusing on animal health, welfare, sanitation, biosecurity, safety, and facility upkeep.

You will assist in all operations, ensure feed and water availability, maintain equipment and barn environments, and work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Prestage Farms is seeking a candidate for our Turkey Breeder Manager Trainee Program. Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to; assisting in the day to day operations on a turkey breeder farm, brooding and rearing turkeys from hatch to 30 weeks of age, animal health and well being, farm sanitation and biosecurity, safety and housekeeping, proper washing and disinfection of the facility, and facility maintenance and upkeep.

• Identify problem areas and correct them immediately or report them to the supervisor
• Maintain all equipment and the correct environment in all barns at all times
