Job summary

BAM’S Landscaping is actively seeking a Turfgrass Specialist to improve lawn health and drive our service quality in Montgomery County and surrounding areas. The role involves hands-on turf care, pest and fertilizer applications, soil testing, and field diagnostics.

You will work with modern equipment, receive training for licenses, and have opportunities for advancement based on experience. A valid driver’s license and ability to pass a drug test are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in turfgrass management or a related field.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must be able to pass a drug test.
• Certification is not required but preferred and training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Calibration of equipment and proper application of products.
• Pesticide/fertilizer applications as required.
• Soil testing and lawn health diagnostics.
• Light administrative tasks and record keeping.

Job description

BAM'S Landscaping & Lawn Care is currently seeking a Turfgrass Specialist to join our growing team.

Responsibilities:

• Calibration of equipment
• Continuing education/training
• Pesticide/fertilizer applications
• Soil test taking
• Light administrative tasks (i.e record keeping)
• Turf diagnosing
• Use of a smartphone and other related tasks

Qualifications:

• We are seeking a problem-solver and a DOER that can make our lawns the best on the block!
• Must strive for quality, have great communication skills, and be a team player.
• Certification is not a requirement (we can train) BUT we will give preference to applicants who have it (MDA Applicators license 3C & Fertilizer License). You can operate under our Business Applicator's License and expedite your training to get your own license!
• At least 3 years in the field or similar industry w/ knowledge of turfgrass management
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Must be able to pass a drug test
