Job summary

LandPro Equipment is seeking a Turf Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of turf and lawn equipment in a shop setting. You will perform routine service, troubleshoot issues, and complete digital work orders while ensuring safety and high-quality workmanship.

The role emphasizes teamwork and ongoing technical training in a fast-paced environment. Ideal candidates have 1+ years of repair experience on lawn gear, mechanical aptitude, and basic computer skills to process digital

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience performing service repairs on lawn and garden equipment or similar machinery.
• Mechanical aptitude with knowledge of small engines and equipment systems.
• Ability to perform repairs and maintenance using tools and service procedures.
• Basic computer skills and ability to complete digital work orders.
• Ability to safely operate equipment used for diagnostics.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain lawn, garden, and turf equipment.
• Perform routine service and preventative maintenance on customer and dealer-owned equipment.

A Day in the Life of a Turf Technician

As a Turf Technician, your day is spent diagnosing issues, making repairs, and performing maintenance that helps customers get the most out of their equipment.

You may be working on riding mowers, zero-turn mowers, compact tractors, handheld equipment, or other turf and lawn & garden machines. One job may involve troubleshooting an engine issue, while the next is preventative maintenance or preparing equipment for the season ahead.

Youll work in a shop environment alongside a team of experienced technicians, using your skills and tools to keep equipment running safely and efficiently.

Every day is different, but the goal is always the same: do the job right and take care of the customer.

What Youll Do

As a Turf Technician, you will:

• diagnose, repair, and maintain lawn, garden, and turf equipment
• perform routine service and preventative maintenance on customer and dealer-owned equipment

What You Need to be a LandPro Turf Technician:

• 1+ years of experience performing service repairs on lawn & garden equipment or similar machinery
• mechanical aptitude with knowledge of small engines and equipment systems
• ability to perform repairs and maintenance using tools and service procedures
• basic computer skills and ability to complete digital work orders
• ability to safely operate equipment used for diagnostics
• strong verbal and written communication skills
• ability to lift 75 lbs. repeatedly
• valid drivers license
• high school diploma or equivalent experience

Its a Plus if You Have:

• experience with John Deere, turf, or lawn & garden equipment
• basic service technician certification
• associate degree in a technical field
• forklift certification
• experience using Service Advisor or similar software
