Job summary

Westchester Hills Golf Club in White Plains, NY is seeking a Full-Time 2nd Assistant Superintendent to support daily golf course operations and enhance member/guest experiences. You will contribute to turf management while growing knowledge of club operations and teamwork with Troon affiliation.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree or AA in agronomy/horticulture, 3–4 years of related experience, and a valid driver’s license; pesticide license is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or AA in agronomy, horticulture, or plant/soil science.
• 3–4 years of related experience and/or training.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine safety inspections on spraying and fertilizer equipment.
• Maintains chemical storage and mixing areas per regulations.
• Monitors calibration of spraying and fertilizing equipment.
• Supervises maintenance staff and ensures compliance with company policies.
• Addresses environmental concerns and licensing requirements.
• Assists with interviewing, training, planning, and directing work.
