Job summary

Leewood Golf Club seeks an Assistant Golf Course Superintendent to support the overall management and maintenance of the course grounds. You will work closely with the Golf Course Superintendent to oversee turf care, irrigation, equipment maintenance, and scheduling while promoting sustainability.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, developing maintenance plans, budgeting, and ensuring premium playability and aesthetics at a historic Westchester club.

Qualifications

• Degree in Turf Management or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in golf course maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of turf maintenance practices and irrigation systems.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Pesticide applicator's license or the ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities
