Job description

Golf Club in Sun City Center, Florida is Hiring!

Full-time or part-time grounds workers needed for operating equipment and general golf course maintenance. Competitive wages for golf course experience, and those eager to learn. Preference given to those with spray tech, irrigation repair, and drainage experience. Must be available some weekends and holidays and ability to work in a wide range of weather conditions. We are looking for an individual with a positive attitude and reliability.

Positions Available:

Full Time & Part Time positions available immediately.

Compensation:

Hourly based on experience and skillset.

Schedule:

Some Weekends & Holidays required.

Benefits:

Full time benefits available after 90 days probationary period: Health, Dental, Life Insurance, Sick pay, and Vacation pay.

Experience Requirements:

Valid Driver’s License and minimum of one-year experience working on a golf course or landscaping crew.

You must be able to:

1. Operate vehicles and powered equipment; such as greens mowers, fairway units, rough units, tractors, and twin-axle vehicles.
2. Care for established property by mulching, weeding, or trimming.
3. Use hand tools, such as shovels, rakes, pruning saws, hedge or brush trimmer.
4. Gather and remove debris.
5. Ability to perform heavy physical labor.
6. May be required to work in an environment that includes such activities as bending, lifting, stooping, kneeling, climbing, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, and grasping for up to 5 hours without sitting. May need to lift up to 100 lbs., occasionally and up to 50 lbs. frequently.
7. All other duties as assigned.

Physical Factors:

1. Must be able to stand and walk for up to five (5) hours without sitting.
2. Majority of the time may be outdoors exposed to such elements as heat, rain, wind, and cold weather.
