Job summary

Hutson Inc. in Michigan is looking for a Delivery/Equipment Support Associate to deliver turf, compact utility, and select small agricultural equipment and to provide hands-on operation and safety training during delivery.

You will load, secure, and transport equipment, track trucks and trailers, and maintain delivery records while ensuring a positive customer experience. Valid license and forklift certification are required; strong teamwork and safety mindset are essential.

Qualifications

0-2 years of delivery experience preferred.
High School Diploma or GED required.
Excellent verbal communication.
Ability to read maps and navigate the region you are delivering in efficiently.
Able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
Able to communicate effectively with customers and coworkers.
An ability to function well as part of a team.
Diligent attention to safety.
Ability to operate and instruct the customer on the basic functions of the equipment being delivered.
Customer service skills to answer any questions the customer may have about the equipment.

Responsibilities

Provide customers with equipment orientation at the time of delivery, including operation and safety features.
Properly load and unload the equipment.
Keep track of all trucks and trailers used for delivery and ensure they are functioning properly.
Properly secure the equipment for travel to ensure safety.
Follow all instructions for pickup, transport, and delivery of equipment for the dealership and/or customers.
Record all deliveries and obtain necessary signatures and receipts as requested by supervisors.
Maintain vehicle in a safe operating condition and report needed repairs.
Develop knowledge of turf, compact utility, and select small agricultural equipment to support deliveries.
Coordinate with customers to schedule delivery details (date, location, time).
Support the service department as needed and assist with lot organization.
