Job summary

Cowboy Space Corp. in the United States seeks an engineer to own turbopump components from concept through hot-fire testing and flight, trading designs and proving hardware meets its requirements.

You will integrate hydro, aero, structures and thermals, manage build pedigree, drive manufacturing, and provide real-time test support and anomaly investigation. This fast-moving startup values accountability and expects bold propulsion solutions under ITAR constraints.

Qualifications

• Must have Bachelor's in Aerospace/Mechanical engineering.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD and GD&T with manufacturable design definitions.
• Hands-on experience taking a design through build and test.

Responsibilities

• Own turbopump components from concept through hot fire testing and flight; trade designs and prove hardware meets requirements.
• Integrate constraints from hydro, aero, structures, secondary flow, and thermals into a single design.
• Control configuration, record pedigree across build, test, and refurbishment cycles.
• Drive manufacturing: fabrication, first article reviews, and nonconformance disposition.
• Provide real-time test support and data reduction; assist anomaly investigations.
