Job summary

Rotating Machinery Services Inc. seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead and track all phases of industrial turbomachinery projects, ensuring on-time delivery within budget.

You will coordinate with customers and RMS disciplines, document progress, and maintain both electronic and paper folders. The role requires at least 5 years of PM experience in manufacturing or rotating equipment, a degree, and the ability to work in Pasadena, TX.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of project management experience, preferably in manufacturing or with rotating equipment.
• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution is required.

Responsibilities

• Review and verify all paperwork handed over in the project kickoff meeting is correct and clearly identifies RMS responsibilities.
• Review project scope and schedule engineering deliverables; interface and coordinate communications between shop, customers and vendors.
• Develop drawing list and track drawing progress; issue work orders and assign material traceability numbers.
• Write requisitions with material details, budget, and required documentation; track purchase orders to delivery; coordinate with vendors and RMS.
• Write all work orders and prepare shipping documentation; coordinate final shipping costs and customer communications.
• Review project payment terms with accounting; prepare invoice requests and support documentation; update progress schedules.
