Job summary

Rotating Machinery Services (RMS Inc.) is seeking a Project Manager to lead and manage all phases of mechanical projects in our Chicopee shop. You will ensure on-time delivery within budget, coordinate with customers and RMS disciplines, and maintain detailed project records.

Required are 5+ years in project management, strong organizational skills, and proficiency with MS Office and MS Project. Evening/weekend work may be needed based on project requirements.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
• 5+ years in Project Management, preferably in Manufacturing/Rotating Equipment.
• Able to work in a team and communicate across functions.

Responsibilities

• Review and verify project kickoff paperwork and identify RMS responsibilities.
• Coordinate with marketing/sales on changes, durations, deliverables, and customer communication.
• Monitor scope and schedules; interface between shop, customers, and vendors.
• Track purchasing, issue requisitions, and ensure proper documentation and certifications.
