Qualifications

• Degree in engineering or related technical field and 1+ years of experience.
• Ability to perform basic structural, thermal, and/or fluid analysis.
• Knowledge of turbomachinery design and analysis practices.
• Knowledge of turbopump assembly procedures, including rotor balancing, interference fits, clearance checks, and leak tests.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve complex turbomachinery issues.

Responsibilities

• Develop assemblies for fuel and oxidizer turbopumps of the Aeon-R engine family.
• Collaborate with propulsion development and manufacturing teams to implement improvements.
• Drive projects to completion in ambiguous, fast-paced aerospace environments.
